Your action-packed weekly RHEA timetable!

How much fun can you handle in a week? You are very welcome to come to any of RHEA's social activities, simply give the office a call. See the bottom of the page for the full addresses of the venues.

Monday's:

The Bank Cafe. Grab a drink and a hot sandwich and relax in our cafe style setting and enjoy the morning papers and various games. Have as much or as little as you like from the cafe at very low cost. 11 am to 1 pm at Richmond Hill Community Centre.

Howdown! Line dancing classes with a tutor, perfect for the beginner or experienced dancer and open to everyone aged 18 and over. 1:30 pm to 3 pm at St Philip's Church Hall. £3.50 per class.  

Exercise in Disguise. Lily & Louise host this group which is all about very gentle exercise and physical and mental wellbeing through dance and techniques such as relaxation. It can be done stood or seated and is a very relaxed, fun way to exercise. Just £1 to cover refreshments.

Carers Monthly Meet Up. Lots of people provide care to loved ones and friends. Around the first Monday of every month, RHEA's carers group meet in Leeds city centre for a coffee, a spot of shopping, visits to interesting places or just to catch up with each other. Contact us for the next dates. Free to partake. 

Tuesday's:

T.L.C - Tuesday Lunch Club. Join us at Richmond Hill Community Centre for group activities, chat and laughter and a light lunch. 11 am to 1:30 pm, £2.50 for the meal or £4.50 with return transport (usually by taxi) which RHEA will arrange for you. 

Friends of Richmond Hill. A lively social group with team games, quizzes and occasional local outings. 1:30 pm to 3 pm at Richmond Hill Community Centre. £2 plus small (optional) bingo cost. 

Wednesday's

Community Bingo. Enjoy a few games of cash bingo at the Vinery Centre from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Bingo tickets are just 20p each and all money that is taken in is paid out in prizes. Open to everyone aged 18 and over. £1 entry.

Knit & Natter. A small and relaxed social group where people knit at their own pace to create various items. 1:30 pm to 3 pm at Richmond Hill Community Centre. £1 to cover refreshments.

Messing About on the River. This fantastic men's group is in collaboration with Canal Connections who own two canal barges and meet every Wednesday at 10am to sail along the canal and work on projects that promote and restore our wonderful waterways. Even if you just wanted to come for a drink and enjoy the sailing, you would be very welcome. Group members do as much or as little as they like or can do. Free to take part. Contact us for the meeting point. 

Thursday's

Thursday Lunch Club. Fun group activity followed by a delicious, homecooked, two-course hot lunch. There is a different menu every week from roast beef to gammon, pies, casseroles, chicken and vegetarian options. £4 for lunch or £6 with return transport by taxi. 11 am to 1:30 pm at Richmond Hill Community Centre. 

Fun, Fitness and Laughter. A tailored exercise class with a lot of fun and laughter thrown in. 1 pm to 2 pm at St Philip's Church Hall, £3.

Friday's

Zumba Gold. A Latin-inspired dance workout with a qualified tutor who will teach you various routines to keep you fit and well. 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Richmond Hill Community Centre. £3.

Gentle Exercise. If Zumba isn't your thing, RHEA runs a gentler, general exercise class at Fewston Court community room. It is perfect for all abilities and can be done stood or seated. 12:15 am to 1:15 pm, £2.50.

Sunday's

Another chance for a home cooked, two-course, hot lunch in good company at Richmond Hill Community Centre. 11 am to 1 pm. Free transport is available from the Access Bus (telephone 0113 348 1900) and the cost of the meal is £4.
